Sam Stipp
Owner
Sam Stipp is the owner of Through the Ages Fitness! She has a Health Science and Geriatrics degree from Ball State University. Over the past ten years, Sam has specialized in healthcare, senior wellness, life enrichment, and the overall concept of aging in place. She takes great interest in assisting with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and improving brain function for all. Through the Ages Fitness members.
Sam enjoys traveling with her husband, taking care of their THREE dogs (Knox, Bear and Bailey), and spending time with friends and family!
Stephanie Hufford
Instructor Support
Stephanie loves to help others stay active, no matter where they are on their fitness journey. It’s never too late to start! Stephanie has an Exercise Science Degree from Ball State University, ACE Personal Trainer certification, Brain Fitness Coach certification, and an Activity Director certification through the state of Indiana. She has experience working in corporate fitness for two years then followed her passion to senior living fitness and wellness for four years. Stephanie enjoys spending time outside with her two kids, husband, and friends at local parks, hiking, and enjoying a new hobby: playing golf!


Pam Niccum
Content Creator
Pam’s passion for health and fitness is based on a core belief that motion is lotion for the body! If you don’t use it, you’ll lose it. She holds a group fitness certification through ACE, and a 500RYT certification. Her love for movement and motivating others to want to move brought her to the Through the Ages Fitness team. In addition to fitness, Pam loves creative projects, travel, and spending time outside.
Michelle Tharp-Taylor
Instructor
Michelle is a recently retired high school teacher who loved connecting with students and colleagues. She is now excited to use those skills to share her love of movement with others. She believes that being active is not only essential in improving or maintaining mobility, but that activity and exercise increase our joy of living. In her free time Michelle loves walking and strength training, but her favorite pastime is spending time with her family.


Tish Ratcliff
Instructor
Tish has focused her teaching on the needs of the elderly, the physically fragile, and those with cognitive challenges. A former caregiver familiar with the stresses of aging, teaching has become Tish’s happy place, and her goal as a teacher is to share that happiness with her participants. She is excited to be part of the Through the Ages Fitness team!
Jennifer Grimm
Instructor
Jennifer has been a stay at home mom the last 20 years, but decided to return to work and wanted to do something active. She has experience in circuit training, ballet style classes, boxing, yoga, and Pilates. Jennifer has been married 27 years, has two daughters in college, as well as two boxer dogs and a cat. In her free time, she enjoys attending sporting events with her family, boating, and walking outdoors. Jennifer believes in staying fit to stay physically healthy, but also to keep your mind healthy!


Diane Kelly
Instructor
Diane has recently retired from the corporate world and now has the time to help others get or stay moving. She is a former caregiver and knows how important it is to keep your body and mind active. With a passion for movement and well-being, Diane has been immersed in various types of fitness her entire adult life - both as an instructor and as an active participant. Whether leading others toward their fitness goals or pushing her own limits, she thrives in the energy of staying active and strong. Diane loves working in her yard, gardening, and attends the gym most mornings, but her favorite way to pass time is spending it with her husband, daughter, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Jalen Anderson
Instructor
Jalen has a passion for fitness that he believes is tied to life. He has an ISSA Personal Training Certification and does Group Fitness Training at Crunch Fitness. He not only helps train physically but mentally as well as. His passion for fitness came once he got into college - fitness helped with keeping his stress levels down, especially going into finals. He decided to get certified a year after graduating from IUPUI. Jalen believes that when you workout, you should be mentally and physically strong. He is always about the clients and building good rapport with them.


Megan Sharpe
Instructor
Megan has been a respiratory therapist for over 20 years. She specializes in helping people with heart and lung issues feel confident and safe while exercising. She has also completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training where she focused on mobility and strength. She enjoys guiding others in healthy ways to move their body, regardless of any limitations. In her spare time, Megan likes to hike, camp, and explore nature with her family.
